My stamps

A few people have told me that they went onto the Spiral Whisper website to buy my stamps but there were only a couple on there under animals. They are there but most of them are just listed under my name.

At the moment there are seven on;
Rock Star Chuckles,
Coming Ready Or Not (Chuckles n Giggles playing hide and seek),
Chuckles banana tree,
Tarquin the tree frog,
Chuckles Lazy Day,
Giggles,
Boozy Chuckles.

More of my stamp sneeky peeks :)

Morning everyone :) Not feeling too good today, so just a quickie. Hopefully I'll be back on for another update later :)

Previews of three more stamps have just gone on the SW website for pre-sale release.

Firstly, there's 'Rock Star Chuckle Monkey'. Oh he does get silly when he's had a shandy or four LOL




Secondly, there's a new Chuckles and Giggles 'Coming Ready or Not' stamp. See if you can see where Chuckles is hiding. I think his huuuuuuuuuuge ears may give that one away (chuckle)


Last but not least there's a 'Tarquin the tree frog' stamp. Sorry for such a close up shot of him but he's a right poser and wouldn't pose any other way. Tree frogs, eh! You can't take them anywhere LOL



The other Chuckle and Giggle Monkey stamps are;

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh firstly where it all began. This first stamp is of Chuckle Monkey and Friends famous banana tree. It has been done as a stand alone stamp so that you can easily fit it into any other Chuckles and friends scene or just on it's own. Apologies for the missing bananas though (blush) Chhhuuuuuuuuucklessssssssssssssssss, ouch that hurt my throat. He's no where to be seen I think he must have slipped off for a sly smooch with Giggles (cheesy grin)




The stamp above below depicting a very typical lazy day for Chuckle Monkey. He is such a tinker. I am surprised that hammock hasn't collapsed with him in it. Look at all of those bananas he's filled his greedy face with LOL




Meet Giggle Monkey. Giggles is the ever doting girlfriend to Chuckles. You will be seeing lots more of her and them both together :) She can be adapted to cards, scrapbook layouts and other crafting projects. I’ll be making a card with her tonight and can't wait to get started.



Meet Boozy Chuckles. This Chuckle Monkey stamp would be great for a Birthday, Christmas or New Year celebration card/scrapbook layout and other projects. This pose was captured after a night out on the lash at his local watering hole. Oh the embarrassment (blush)



The new workshop has come to a stand still as my OH is back working away again. The frame and floor have been up since a week last Sunday so hopefully we can get to work on the roof when he's back. It's looking good though (wink) and measuring about four metres by three metres roughly, I think, scratches head. Oh I am so forgetful lately. Let’s just say it's big. Can't wait to get it finished and get all my power tools set up in there. I know I am very, very sad LOL and partition some of it off for a dark room and to put the kiln in. Toying with the fact of getting a potters wheel too. Going to take the kids to our local craft centre this week or next I think to throw a few pots. Will need to take my DD with me for directions though as I am hopeless without the sat nav and my OH has it. I need one, stamps feet.

Anyhoo, I have rambled on again when I said I wouldn’t so I'm off to wrestle with putting Pickles ball pit and tent up for him.

I'll be popping into my craft room when my OH finishes work he's still holed up in a server room winging about being hungry! Yay, pre-release of some of my stamps available from today :)

Sorry I haven't updated in a while, been run off my feet as usual and yesterday was Pickles birthday. He is now the grand ole age of two LOL. Ahhhhh where does the time go. It only seems like yesterday that our midwife was telling me I couldn't have an epidural as my baby was not ready to come out even though I was insisting it was and she carried on reading her magazine. Until another midwife happened to come in looked at me and said get her on her back now the baby’s heads coming, stupid woman!!!

Good news (cheesy grin) Just checked and some of my Chuckle Monkey and his doting girlfriend Giggle Monkey stamps have been added to the Spiral Whisper website you can check them out here. You can pre-order them now (another cheesy grin) There are many more to go on I'll keep you updated as to when they go on :)At the moment there is Chuckles banana tree, Boozy Chuckles, Chuckles Lazy Day and Giggle Monkey to choose from. Giggles is also to be featured with other Chuckle Monkey stamps soon :)

Lots of tidying to do from Pickles birthday party yesterday and more washing yawn. Then hopefully I'll be back on later to upload some of my stamp card examples :) So please call by again soon (an even bigger grin than b4)

I hate that dressing gown

Firstly, I'd like to thanks the lovely
Jennifer and Lauren for both sending me this lovely award.

I now have to nominate 7 people x 2 crikey. Well I do visit lots of fantastic blogs, just got to have a think. Will edit and add to this post later as I am in a bit of a tizz again today LOL.

I'm so, soooooooooooo tired with my OH away and Pickles not sleeping and Kevin the teenager’s twin sis to contend with. Pickles latest party trick is sneaking up behind me and biting my bum then smacking it whilst shouting "bum bum" at the top of his voice and running off in hysterics. Ouch, it really hurts you know, kids eh! It was very funny and cute the first few times. But not so funny and cute after about the 100th time in the middle of a crowded chemists!

Still drawing away here, more Chuckles, Tarquins and non animal. Was supposed to be starting on the samples tonight but my DD is singing in another show so it will depend on what time we make it back for. She has an eye infection and I had to beg the doc for an emergency appointment this morning for her. As when she woke up she looked all gozy eyed and they were all swollen and stuck together. I had to of course do my Mothers duty and tell her it looked fine. She didn't say a single word just paused and attempted to look at me through all of the weeping puss dripping from her eyes, then she spoke.” You really are ridiculous sometimes Mother (oh no she called me Mother, that means she's sussed me out, gulp) "how on earth is it supposed to be OK when I can't even open my eyes" and with that she turned on me giving me 'the look' narkily fastened her dressing gown, folded her arms and went of in a Kevin strop. Erm "ok, I'd better phone the doctors" was my reply as I made a hasty retreat LOL.

Talking of 'that' dressing down. I really, really am starting to despise it with a real passion. But it's only a dressing gown I hear you cry. Well let me just tell you about that blasted green monster of a dressing gown shall I. It haunts me, truly it does. Everywhere I go in the house it magically appears. Like it has sprung feet and follows me around sneaking up on me and taunting me. I just wish that it would walk into the utility room occasionally of its own accord and jump into the washing machine. As I become in mortal fear of my life daring to venture into my DD's bedroom. I keep thinking something is going to jump out and attack me. The clothes on the floor have grown clothes on top of clothes with the odd crisp bag and chocolate wrapper thrown on top. "Mum" I frequently hear being bellowed from the top of the landing, she sounds like she's swallowed a 100 watt amplifier at times "I've got nothing to wear, you need to buy me some new clothes"Arggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhh "Well try tidying that S hole" is my reply. Door slams and then the entire same saga is replayed almost word for word as if I had entered the Twilight Zone a few days later. Huh, kids eh!!!

Anyhoo, got to get on, rambled on for long enough. Got to get organised for tonight. Thanks as usual for visitng and please drop by again soon :)

Well just to catch up. It's been gorgeous and sunny and very hot here today, I almost fainted with surprise. Could this be summer finally putting in an appearance. Yesterday though was totally bizarre. We had torrential rain all morning here and we left to take my DD to a dance audition in Manchester around one. It was still bucketing it down when we got there. Yet when we came out three hours later, it was sweltering hot and sunny, mad, a bit like me LOL

Anyhoo usual off the subject ramble over. I've been mad busy designing. My daughters shows on Friday and Saturday, my DD's three hour dance audition, I kid you not!!! Running around after Pickles and other bits n bobs. As well as being my DD's taxi service. She was chosen to perform a drama piece at Manchester Uni and got back a little while ago. Phew I thought now I might actually get some rest. Until she informed me that her friend Harrison was coming down tomorrow for the day in hopes of persuading her to stay at her p/t performing arts school. Maybe I'll actually get a rest on Wednesday eh, what d'ya think? No you’re probably right, fat chance eh LOL

Anyhoo of to hit the drawing pad now. Thanks to everybody that has visited as usual and I hope to see you back again here soon.

What a lovely evening :)

Just got back from my daughters show in Liverpool. It was fantastic. Poor Pickles or should I say poor Nana and Grandad are soooooooo tired. Pickles only fell asleep about an hour ago, tut tut.

Had a huge 12" mega topped halal pizza from a great cafe on Hardman Street for only £4.00 yes you read right £4.00 and with 5 toppings and we shared a bowl of the most delicious chips I have ever tasted. 4get Dominoes pizza and Pizza Hut, that was the best pizza I have ever had the pleasure to devour LOL. Intrigued and note to self "must try the Egyptian breakfast next time." If anyone is ever in Liverpool town centre you must try it. It's next to the gorgeous Philharmonic dining rooms, just across from the Philharmonic Hall. My OH goes to a Halal Indian in Manchester all of the time. They only pay £3.50 for rice and tree different dishes. He never needs dinner when he gets home. They give them that much. You must try a Halal sometime I am sure you won't be disappointed :) We even snook in a drink or two in the interval. Well very tired now so off to bed. Hopefully with Pickles having a late night he'll let us have a lie in (yeah right) because for once we don't have to be up and out at the crack of dawn taking my DD to stage school, hurray. She's got the day off as she has another performance there tomorrow.

Anyhoo for those who are night owls like myself. Night night and don't let the bed bugs bite :) n morning n get the porridge on I'll have spenda in mine please :) for those of you that are just waking up to this message :)

Fantastic news :) news. Two more never seen before Chuckle Monkeys have winged their way over to Spiral Whisper to be made into stamps. I've also been asked to do some more and some new Tarquin The Tree Frogs too stamps too, hurray

Well I couldn't post with out a ramble on could I now? Just got back from the dress shop in the village for my DD's prom dress. I am not even thinking about how much it cost (almost faints) but she does look absolutely gorgeous in it. All she needs now she has informed me is some diamante high heels, swarovski crystal earrings, necklace and bracelet, new make-up, a spray tan, a facial, false nails and a new hair do! Kids eh LOL

Sneeky peek samples

Just popped on to thank everyone who has been visiting my blog and big (hugs) to those who have left such lovely comments :)

Just on my way out now to go to the dress shop in the village for a prom dress for my DD's prom. When we get back hopefully Pickles can 4get about the curtain monster for long enough to nap today so I can get on with my drawing. Also hoping to actually get down to making some sample cards etc over the next few days or so of my stamp images. Hoping to pop some new free images on my blog again very soon too :)So please keep on checking back :)

Got behind with my digital art stamp site because I have been so busy so I need to get back into that too. So I can hopefully launch it in the next few weeks. My OH is working from home today, so Pickles will probably not take advantage as much and I can get on. Got tons of washing and housework to do too and gardening. There just aren’t enough hours in the day.Anyhoo......... I'll hopefully be nipping back on here later, so see you then :)

You can check out where to buy my new stamps and stamps from other designers over at Spiral Whisper. They are a new stamp company that’s launching on the 21st of July. You can pre order them prior to release but I don’t have the details yet. I'll let you know when I do :)


It was finally settled at the weekend which I was quite relieved at as another two companies had approached me over the past month to turn my images into rubber stamps which was amazing in itself. But so nice now to know that it’s going to happen. Don’t just be expecting my animals though there are a few non animal related themes as well, which I am really excited about.

The good news is they are going to be released as rubber stamps :), along with him in many,many more poses and some never seen before images that are to be released very soon. Hurray (grins immensely)

So very soon you will be able to stamp Chuckle Monkey and other images directly onto your projects :)

Don't worry though he will be being replaced very soon with more free images :)
