New blog header and revamp

Apologies if you keep on logging on to see the layout constantly changing. I am in the middle of revamping my entire blog over the coming week. As I have been that slapdash it is totally disorganised, like me (turns red with embarrassment) I want to try and make it more user friendly, so it will be changing a lot over the next week why I am trying things out.

I have just added a new header and I am messing about with colours etc. So please bare with me :) As you can see from it Chuckle Monkey has a new friend the ? tree frog (see poll on the right hand side or post your own suggestions) and he will be joined by many more friends over the coming weeks and months. So please bookmark me and check back often.

Off to grab a cup of coffee to keep myself awake. I wont be partaking in having a accompanying custard cream with it though as they are all gone (blush) We are all such sugar rush gluttons they literally vanished within minutes of them coming out of the oven LOL. Bang goes the slimmer of the week award (oh the shame, blush, scammers off to find something else to dunk instead, blushes even more)

OMG, home made custard creams, warm from the oven

Feast your eyes on these ickle babies :) Aren't they just divine?



My DD has just made a batch of home made custard creams as most people know they are my vice. I utterly adore custard creams to distraction even though most of the time things out of a packet don't match up to home made.But I was addicted to them LOL. No more shop bought for me my DD has been given strict orders to make up another couple of batches. One to devour straight away and one batch to allow the custard to cool. We ate them straight from the oven. They were all warm and squidgy with just the right amount of sweetness. The warm custard cream oozing down the sides hugging itself in its own gorgeousness, pure unadulterated heaven.



I shall pop back on later and add the recipe and method for making them along with a slimmer version for those of us watching our waistlines substituting the sugar for granulated sweetener. But for now I am going to tease you with some more mouth watering photos.

New Chuckle Monkey Jungle Scene art download just released

Phew, got there in the end. Finally tracked the printer cable down. I've been run off my feet with the children with my OH being away on business and I am soooooo tired. So apologies for not uploading this image earlier :)

As with the first Chuckle Monkey art download (which can be found under the Meet Chuckle Monkey post) PLEASE refrain from rocking his hammock as he has been an incredibe glutton and is libel to spew everywhere if you do, you have been warned LOL. I have warned him that I will be dragging him to next weeks Slimming World class if he continues to be such a glutton. He even ate the last of my Cadburys chocolate buttons and custard creams you know, honestly, he did, he did, naughty Chuckle Monkey :)

Please feel free to print him off for PERSONAL USES ONLY and re-size him but PLEASE,PLEASE I implore you DO NOT under any circumstances whatsoever mess with his bananas as he is very temperamental and libel to bite. You have been warned therefore I take no responsibility whatsoever for any random Chuckle Monkey attacks. Treat him well and he will reward you with many a nice card or scrapbook page :)

I would love to see what you make with Chuckle Monkey as I am sure so would he as he is very vain LOL. So as I said upt there above please feel free to print him off for PERSONAL USES ONLY and re-size him and add him to your projects. Be they cards, scrapbook pages, card swaps RAKS etc etc I think you get the jist :) Then please email me here and hopefully I will receive enough to pop them all on here in a Chuckle Monkey gallery bonanza. He's chuckling away here in anticipation, bless him :)
